iOS3 and the new MobileMe Calendar Beta

This is my first article written in English so be thoughtful about my creepy English, please.

If you have an iPhone or iPod touch first generation and you have a MobileMe account, you will probably have got the message about the changes in the calendar and that your device will not be able to access the new calendar format (CalDAV). But this is not true. There is a small and very simple workaround to get the new calendar work with your iOS3 device. Just perform the following steps:

1. open Settings
2. open “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”
3. open your MobileMe Account
4. turn “Calendars” off – go on with “Delete from My iPod”
5. go back to “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”
6. click “Add Account”
7. click “Other”
8. click “Add CalDAV Account”
   Server: cal.me.com
   User Name: your MobileMe username
   Password: your MobileMe password
   Description: whatever you like to call the Calendars
9. click Next
10. You are done!

These steps worked perfect on my iPod touch 1G. But I take no liability for any loss of data.
